Hi! My name is Dawn and I live in beautiful Northern Colorado with my husband Kelly and our three children.

This is the part where I'm supposed to tell you about my lifelong relationship with arts and crafts...except I can't!

My interest in beading and jewelry design began in the spring of 2004 when I attended a basic bead stringing class. Until then, I had rarely done anything that I would have considered “artistic” or “creative”. Through my bead stringing hobby I learned of lampworking and was immediately excited and inspired by the thought of being able to create my very own glass art beads! The fall of 2004 marked the creation of my first set of lampwork beads, produced from my newly-built Sunrise Lampwork home studio! I’ve been in love with glass ever since!

My taste for the abstract and my love of color has influenced the style and designs you see in my beads today. My inspiration generally comes from fashion, everyday life, other bead makers and from the wonderful beaders I encounter every Sunday when I work at the Bead Cache in Fort Collins.
